Step 2 - Enjoy a taster

To help your child experience what it’s like to be a student at Lighthouse Academy, we offer a virtual taster session. This allows your child to explore our online platform and get a feel for what is on offer at Lighthouse Academy. It’s a fantastic opportunity for your child to get to experience our academy, and meet us, while our teachers assess their abilities and behavior.

An informal assessment will be carried out in English and Mathematics for all children over the age of 7 to help us understand their current learning level and academic potential. Additionally, a CAT4, NNAT3, and NWEA MAP assessments will be conducted for those interested in enrolling in our gifted and talented programme.
