Get to Know Us

High challenge. High care. Highly personal.

Lighthouse Academy is a Doha-based British educational consultancy specialising in Gifted & Talented, Academic Support (one-to-one tutoring, small classes and University & Careers Guidance), and Homeschool. We personalise learning using CAT4 profiles (verbal, quantitative, non-verbal, spatial) to accelerate strengths and build next-step skills. For families in Qatar and everywhere else in the world, we provide evidence-informed teaching, tailored pathways, and visible progress across the British curriculum.

Lighthouse Academy personalises education for every learner—celebrating different kinds of intelligence and building on each student’s strongest modes of thinking while steadily developing the rest. Founded in Doha, Qatar in 2024, we offer three connected pathways: Gifted & Talented, Academic Support, and Homeschool. Using CAT4 and classroom evidence, we design provision that accelerates strengths in verbal, quantitative, non-verbal, or spatial reasoning and supports areas for growth.

Under Academic Support, families can choose one-to-one tutoring and small classes (Maths, English, Science), study skills and exam preparation for the British curriculum, plus University & Careers Guidance—covering course/country selection, personal statements, application timelines, and scholarship planning.

We start with strengths—verbal, quantitative, non-verbal, or spatial—and build from there. Our role is to accelerate what a learner does best while deliberately developing the rest. For a spatially strong student, that means deep visual–spatial projects plus coaching to turn those mental images into clear words. We deliver this through our Gifted & Talented Programme and Academic Support (one-to-one tutoring and small classes).

Gifted & Talented: advanced, interest-driven challenges and mentorship.
Academic Support: one-to-one tutoring, small classes, and University & Careers Guidance (a pathway to G&T readiness).
Homeschool: flexible, guided learning that balances rigour and wellbeing.

As we work towards our vision—a world where every learner’s brilliance is seen, challenged, and celebrated, helping every learner find purpose—we are also advancing this mission globally through Lighthouse Global School Solutions. This initiative brings the exceptional standards, systems, and learner-centred approaches we refine at Lighthouse Academy to schools around the world. Through gifted education frameworks, academic support models, curriculum design, consultancy, and staff training, we enable partner schools to offer the same level of personalised, evidence-informed provision—making us one step closer to realising our vision on a global scale.

What we believes

  • Intelligence is plural. Verbal, quantitative, non-verbal, and spatial strengths matter—and they interact.

  • Strengths first, always. We accelerate what a learner does best, then connect it to areas that need development.

  • High challenge + high care. Stretch only works with safety, clarity, and support.

  • Evidence-informed, human-centred. Data guides; relationships transform.

  • Progress you can see. Students leave with artefacts, scores, and stories that show who they are becoming.

Promises

  • To students: We will see your strengths early (verbal, quantitative, non-verbal, spatial), design the next step fast, and pair high challenge with high care—so you find your purpose, belonging, and a place to excel.

  • To families: Personalised plans, clear goals, and regular, measurable updates (work, data, and stories). We’ll communicate early, celebrate progress, and act quickly when something isn’t working.

  • To partner schools: Professionalism and curriculum alignment, safeguarding first, and added value you can see—extension for high potential, targeted support for gaps, and transparent impact reporting.
