Our mission

We personalise high-challenge learning around each learner’s way of thinking—accelerating strengths, supporting growth, and building mastery, confidence, and purpose—in partnership with families and schools.

Our vision

A world where every learner’s brilliance is seen, challenged, and celebrated - helping every learner find purpose

Get to Know Us

High challenge. High care. Highly personal.

Lighthouse Academy is a bespoke British academy for gifted and high-ability learners.
We specialise in advanced enrichment, personalised tutoring, and guided homeschool pathways — all designed to nurture exceptional potential and accelerate progress.

We personalise learning using CAT4 profiles (verbal, quantitative, non-verbal, spatial) and classroom evidence to deepen strengths while developing next-step skills. For families in Qatar and internationally, we offer evidence-informed teaching, tailored pathways, and visible progress across the British curriculum.

A Bespoke Academy Built for High-Ability Learners

Lighthouse Academy celebrates different kinds of intelligence. Every learner brings a unique profile — a pattern of strengths across verbal, quantitative, non-verbal, and spatial reasoning.
Our role is to illuminate that profile, accelerate what a learner does best, and deliberately develop the rest.

Founded in Doha in 2024, we offer three connected pathways — all aligned with the needs of gifted and high-ability students:

1. Gifted & Talented Programme

Advanced, interest-driven challenges, research projects, problem-solving, and mentorship for high-ability thinkers.
This is Qatar’s most exclusive and personalised G&T pathway.

2. Academic Support (Tutoring & Small Classes)

One-to-one tutoring and boutique small classes in Maths, English, and Science — designed for high-ability learners who need deeper challenge, clearer structure, or extension beyond school.
This includes study skills, exam preparation, and personalised university & careers guidance (course selection, UCAS support, personal statements, reference guidance, and scholarship planning).

3. Homeschool Pathways

A flexible, high-challenge British curriculum approach for gifted and high-ability learners who thrive with personalised pacing.
We balance rigour, wellbeing, and enriched learning experiences across the year.

How We Personalise Learning

We start with a learner’s cognitive strengths — verbal, quantitative, non-verbal, or spatial — and design provision that:

  • accelerates advanced reasoning

  • provides deep, meaningful challenge

  • builds the next layer of skills

  • supports academic confidence and independence

For a spatially strong student, this might mean complex visual-spatial projects paired with coaching to turn mental images into strong written expression.
For a verbally strong student, it might mean advanced writing workshops, debate, or research writing, while developing quantitative or spatial reasoning through targeted activities.

Every learner receives a personalised pathway that is ambitious, structured, and rooted in evidence-informed practice.

Beyond Qatar: Lighthouse Global School Solutions

As we work towards our vision — a world where every learner’s brilliance is seen, challenged, and celebrated — Lighthouse Academy is extending its impact globally.

Lighthouse Global School Solutions supports schools around the world with:

  • gifted education frameworks

  • academic support and enrichment models

  • curriculum and assessment design

  • school improvement consultancy

  • staff training in high-ability pedagogy

We help partner schools implement world-class, learner-centred systems that mirror the exceptional standards we cultivate at Lighthouse Academy.

What we believes

  • Intelligence is plural. Verbal, quantitative, non-verbal, and spatial strengths matter—and they interact.

  • Strengths first, always. We accelerate what a learner does best, then connect it to areas that need development.

  • High challenge + high care. Stretch only works with safety, clarity, and support.

  • Evidence-informed, human-centred. Data guides; relationships transform.

  • Progress you can see. Students leave with artefacts, scores, and stories that show who they are becoming.

Promises

  • To students: We will see your strengths early (verbal, quantitative, non-verbal, spatial), design the next step fast, and pair high challenge with high care—so you find your purpose, belonging, and a place to excel.

  • To families: Personalised plans, clear goals, and regular, measurable updates (work, data, and stories). We’ll communicate early, celebrate progress, and act quickly when something isn’t working.

  • To partner schools: Professionalism and curriculum alignment, safeguarding first, and added value you can see—extension for high potential, targeted support for gaps, and transparent impact reporting.
